Is he angry?

Jeeva's POV

It's paining a little. Though, I'm feeling much better now.

Thanks to Rish.

Nowadays, I blush at the mere thought of him.

Why does he have to flirt all the time?

My affection for him grows even stronger. I feel a range of feelings from love to flirtation to sensitivity to stubbornness when I am around him.

I'm growing increasingly more attached to him.

With him, I feel good.

I feel very much like myself.

You know, you can no longer stand being apart from someone with whom you can be completely honest.

Because then you can only truly know yourself with that person.

Well, it's 12:47 a.m. and I am studying because I have a test tomorrow.

Although I stay up till late at night, today I am feeling sleepy because of the medicines.

For tomorrow's test, I studied hard, but I'll just do one more revision before turning in for the night.

After a while, I put down my pen, removed my glasses, and stretched my arms.

I picked up my phone and opened Instagram.

Rish has posted the story. I clicked on his story.

He has posted the story of his bike with the song Humraah. Ooh!

And a picture of Him and I, oh! When did he snap this picture?

Why didn't I remember?

But it's looking good.

Nice picture. But we are looking like a couple.

I wish we were a couple. I sighed dreamily, putting a hand above my heart. Oh! It's beating so fast.

Wait, what kind of song has he put on this story?

Does he like me?

No.

Why would he?

But then why would he put this song in his story, that too, with me.

Did he-?

No, no, no.

Jeeva, don't overthink too much. He does not like you. He just considers you a friend.

Don't go too far.

Kahin teri overthinking ki wajah se tumhari dosti na toot jaaye.

Haan par, fir woh- unhone- woh- juice- lips- lick....

"Ahhhh"

If he doesn't like me, why will he do all this?

Who knows, he may just be flirting with me.

Aur kya pata woh sab se karte ho aese flirt.

Have you ever seen him talking to any other girl besides you? My subconscious asked me.

No, I haven't.

Then, When you have never seen him talking to any other girl, then how can you say that he flirts with everyone like this?

Hmm, right.

Par main konsa unke saath rehti hoon poore din. Who knows he does?

Do one thing, You yourself go and ask him whether he likes you or not. My subconscious said.

Na baba na, agar unhone mana kar diya toh. Main toh propose karne se pehle hi reject ho jaungi.

Wait, propose?

Main unhe propose karne wali hoon? Nahi toh.

Ahhhhh...

This is so frustrating. I'm not asking anyone anything.

And anyway, what does it matter whether he likes me or not, I have to concentrate on my studies. That's what I'm here to do. I want to focus on my career and not on relationships.

Consoling myself, I went to my bed and thinking about all this, I didn't realize when I fell asleep.

"Haawww" I yawned, stretching my arms.

I looked at the clock which was kept on the side table.

It's 5:35 a.m. . My test will start at 8:30 so I have to reach coaching by 8 o'clock.

I have time to get ready for coaching.

It's Sunday today, so the rest of our classes are not going to happen, we just have to give the test.

And then I'm free.

Huh! Chain se soungi wapas aane ke baad.

I got off the bed and went to the bathroom. After coming from the bathroom, I changed my clothes for workout.

And then I went to my room's balcony for exercise.

I took a deep breath, my eyes closed.

"Fresh morning air." I muttered.

Then I started doing exercise. After 45 mins, I finished exercising.

I went to the room and went straight to the bathroom to take a bath. Aftre 15 mins, I came out to take a bath and did my skin care. Change your clothes and this time my phone rang.

It's Krishav.

I picked the call. And said, "hello?"

"Hey Brownie, Good Morning," he said in a very happy voice.

"Good morning Rish" I said, putting the call on the speaker.

"Are you ready?"He asked.

"Yeah! Why?" I said, making breakfast for me.

"Great then, come downstairs," he said.

"Why?" I asked, being confused.

I picked up the phone, put it to my ear and went to the balcony.

There he was standing, leaning on his bike. Wearing formal clothes, as if he's going to a meeting.

( Ignore the background, guys.)

With a charming smile on his handsome face, he was looking at me.

Ohh my poor heart.

Ab yeh aese itne kaatil banke ghumenge toh koi kese hi apna focus dusri cheez pe kare.

I didn't realize that I was blatantly looking at him.

"Ab tum aese dekhogi toh mere paet mein heart attack aa jaega, brownie." he said, smirking at me.

I can feel heat rushing through my cheeks.

"Huh! I-I am coming there," I said and cut the call immediately.

I went inside my room and locked the balcony door, hurriedly ate my breakfast, picked up my bag and phone and went downstairs.

I went to him and asked, "Why are you here so early in the morning? And why are you dressed so formally? Are you going to the meeting?"

I asked all of these questions at once to avoid embarrassing myself.

But guess what? I did embarrass myself.

And this charming and smug smile has not yet left his face.

Aese smile matt karo yaar mere dil mein kuch kuch hota hai.

"Bolo bhi ab yaa aese hi muskurate rahoge,'' I said as he kept smiling at me.

"Tum baatein karti hui kitni pyaari lagti ho," he said and unknowingly a shy smile came on my face.

"Bolti raha karo," he added.

Hey Krishna, agar ab yeh aese hi flirt karte rahe toh sharm se mene laal ho jaana hai poora.

"Main pagal dikhti hoon tumhe jo bolti rahungi" I said, folding my hands to my chest.

His eyes went to my chest as he stare there for 5 seconds before saying, "nahi pyaari dikhti ho"

"Rish, for a moment please stop flirting and be serious," i said as it's getting too much for my poor heart to handle his flirting.

"Arey, but I'm not flirting. I'm serious," he said with a genuine look on his face.

"Yeah, i know how serious you are," i said, shrugging my shoulder.

"What do you mean?" he asked, scrunching gmhis nose.

"I mean, How do I know if you flirt with all of the girls like this or not?" I said, looking into his eyes.

And the expression on his face indicated that he didn't like what I said.

His jaw clenched as he closed his eyes and said, "Why do you think like that, brownie?"

"Cause you flirt with me very often, that's why." I said , getting nervous by his sudden behaviour change.

"So you don't like when I flirt with you?" he asked as his pupils are getting more dark than they already are.

"No, it's not like that," I said as now I don't know what to say.

"Then what's it like brownie?" he asked, getting closer to me.

His voice is getting more serious and heavy.

I don't know why? But I'm feeling a thousand of different sensations running through my body.

His intense gaze, his dark eyes, his outfit, his dark expressions, his everything screaming something dark.

Nobody can claim that the same individual who had such a charming smile on his face a short time ago now has such severity on his face.

Why?

Because I can't keep my thoughts to myself when I am stressed.

But he is looking hot.

He was standing so close to me that his breath was fanning over my face. Unknowingly i was stepping back due to the closeness when I felt his hand on my waist.

If he doesn't stop immediately, my heart will burst.

"I won't," he said.

My eyes widened, and I looked at him in amazement.

How does he know what I am thinking?

"Huh?" My vocal chords were not producing words.

It felt like my tongue had frozen.

"Come on, you will be late for the test." he said and backed off.

And suddenly I was missing his closeness. What kind of weird things am I feeling?

He returned and sat on the bike, wearing his helmet and handing me another.

I took the helmet and put it on. I sat behind him as he started the bike.

After 10 mins, He stopped the bike in front of my coaching center. I got down from the bike and stood facing him and said, "thank you."

He nodded his head.

"Umm, Rish I'm sor-"

"It's okay, Jeeva '' he cut me off.

"I think I should leave now," he added, starting the bike.

"Okay, bye" I bid him small bye and he rode off.

Jeeva, he called me jeeva.

I know its my name but still he calls me brownie then why jeeva.

Is he angry with me? But I didn't say anything like that.

"Hey Jeeva, let's go. The test is about to start," one of my batchmates said.

I nodded my head and went inside with her, thinking about all the things that had happened.

Author's POV

"Take excellent care of him, till I return from Pune," He said on the call, Boarding  on the plane.

"As you say." a voice came from the other side.

After the call was disconnected, he slid his phone into his pants pocket and sat on a seat.

He laid his head back and closed his eyes.

A painful smile appeared on his face.

"Your doubts are also sweet just like you, Brownie," he said as the only person he is thinking about is his Brownie.

"But don't worry, I'll dispel these uncertainties of yours," he said as he opened his laptop and started typing something.

After dropping Jeeva, Krishav left for his business event which is in Pune..

An event is scheduled to take place in Pune today. which will be attended by numerous powerful Indian businessmen.

ATARAXIA's (Krishav's dad's company) CEO  and Future CEO ,i.e., Krishav's dad and Krishav are also invited to that gathering.

In order for Krish to network with and get to know other businesspeople, his father made the decision to send him to this event even though krishav did not wanted to go but his father forced him to attend it.

After submitting the test Jeeva came out of her coaching premises. She was tired and sleepy, but still the only person she was thinking about was Krishav.

She wants to talk to him but doesn't know what she should say to him as she thinks that he is upset with her.

She started walking to her hostel as her hostel isn't that far.

She was constantly thinking about whether to call Krishav or not.

She was deep in contemplation when she felt someone was standing behind her as she approached her hostel.

She turned back nervously to see that person.

"WOOH!" Aditi jerked Jeeva suddenly.

"AHH!" Jeeva screamed, closing her eyes.

"ADII!! Are you mad? I got scared." Jeeva said, placing her hand on her chest.

Aditi started laughing as she hugged Jeeva .

"Arey mela Babu darr gaya," Aditi cooed Jeeva.

"SHUT UP" Jeeva said, jerking her away from the hug.

"Make me" aditi said seductively.

"Eeeehhhh, DON'T. Just don't do these kinds of things again" Jeeva said, making a disgusted face.

"And for your kind information let me tell you that I AM STRAIGHT," Jeeva said as she started walking inside the hostel.

"Haan haan pata hai mujhe," Aditi said, rolling her eyes.

"AND for your kind information I AM ALSO STRAIGHT and I HAVE A BOYFRIEND TOO," she added, flipping her hair dramatically.

Jeeva gave her side eye before saying, "Where has this watchman gone today?"

Aditi looked at her and said, "achha hai nahi hai abhi yahan pe, nahi toh aaj uski aankhen noch leti main," angrily.

"How does he keep looking at every passing girl?" Jeeva looked at her and said.

"Hawasi saala,"  Aditi muttered.

"Why don't the girls complain to the hostel owner about him?" Jeeva asked.

"Don't know. It doesn't matter to the girls in the hostel." Aditi shrugged her shoulders.

"But it does matter to us. We will do it." Jeeva said and Aditi nodded her head.

Both of them entered the hostel and as they reached near the lift they saw hostel's owner Mr. Mehta.

"Oyee! Yeh yahan kya kar raha hai?" Aditi said to which Jeeva looked at her in confusion and asked, "kaun?"

"Arey yahi!! hostel ka owner," aditi replied.

"Ohh!"

"Chal abhi baat karte hai," Jeeva continued.

"Hmm.. Chal,"

"Umm.. Excuse me sir," Jeeva said to Mr. Mehta.

"Yes?" Mr. Mehta said looking with questioning eyes.

"We wanted to talk about the watchman of this building," Aditi said.

"What do you want to talk about? He already resigned." Mr. Mehta confirmed.

"What?" both of them said at the same time.

"Yes, just a while ago someone gave his resignation and said that I should deliver his this month's salary to his wife.," he said .

"I wonder, Why doesn't he take his own salary?" he continued.

"Anyway, What do you want to talk about?" he asked.

"NO-Nothing sir, we were just asking  why there is no watchman on the gate." Aditi said sheepishly.

"okay" he said and went away.

Jeeva was still in her thoughts when Aditi Interrupted her and said, " ab chal kya soch rahi hai."

"kuch nahi." Jeeva said and they both drifted to their respective rooms.
